Chicago Wind Families, Re: Academy Play Off Results It is with great pride I share that 2 years in the running the BU16 Academy team and the head coach of the BU16 Academy team, Chicago Wind Soccer Club Director of Coaching, Sole Antonjevic, has once again won the play offs in Academy competition in North Carolina. This is huge victory. The only Illinois team that will be competing in the Nationals! The BU16 Academy team beat out: Carmel (last year’s National champions) 3 to 1 Texas 1 to 0 LAFC 4 to 0 The Chicago Wind/Magic merged BU16 Academy team will advance to Nationals in California in July. Congratulations to the BU16 Academy team and every player who worked so hard to achieve these outstanding results and congratulations to coach Sole for his continued success.
